Day 01 – Nature’s Prelude: Kochi to Idukki.
- Pick up from Ernakulam Railway Station or Cochin International Airport.
- Embark on a scenic journey from Kochi to a Village Homestay in Idukki.
- Traverse the Western Ghat Road, surrounded by lush forests and spice plantation villages.
- Check into the Village Homestay, Idukki.
- Enjoy a Spice Plantation visit, and if time permits, explore Thooval Waterfall.
- Overnight stay in the Village Homestay.
Day 02 – Farming Immersion: A Day in the Fields
- Dive into a full day of farming activities, witnessing planting, weeding, harvesting, and processing.
- Experience different activities based on the farming season.
- Taste local food prepared from farm-fresh produce and receive fresh spices.
- Immerse yourself in the agricultural lifestyle.
Day 03 – Thekkady Bounty: Lakes, Grapes, and Vistas
- Head to Thekkady after breakfast.
- Enjoy a boat ride on Periyar Lake (subject to ticket availability).
- Optionally, partake in an Elephant Safari at Thekkady.
- Proceed to Cumbum, Tamil Nadu, for a Grape Plantation visit against the backdrop of Western Ghat Hills.
- Explore the excellent views and statues at Ramakkalmedu.
- Check into a Resort with scenic views in Ramakkalmedu.
Day 04 – Munnar Panorama: Hills, Tea, and Wildlife
- After breakfast, journey to Munnar.
- Explore Chathurangapara Viewpoint via a 3 km diversion, followed by a 750-meter off-road Jeep Safari.
- Marvel at breathtaking views of Western Ghat Hills and Windmills.
- Drive through the stunning Munnar Tea Plantation.
- Optionally visit Iravikulam National Park (closed Jan 21 – Apr 15 for breeding season), Tea Museum, Tea Factory, and Botanical Garden.
- Check into a Resort in Munnar for an overnight stay.
Day 05 – Backwater Symphony: Alleppey’s Charms
- Check out from the Resort after breakfast.
- Proceed to Alleppey.
- Check into a Homestay or Houseboat.
- Opt for a Houseboat Cruise or Shikkara Boating to experience Kerala Backwaters.
- Witness the unique paddy plantation below sea level.
- Optionally, visit Alleppey beach.
- Overnight stay in Homestay or Houseboat.
Day 06 – Farewell: Homeward Bound
- Proceed to Ernakulam Railway Station or Kochi Airport.
- Depart with a heart full of memories from your enriching 6 Days Farming Experience Tour.
